Polyclinic of Addiction Center

In the Addiction Center outpatient clinic; alcohol and substance abuse disorders and treatment of behavioral addictions such as internet addiction, gambling addiction and eating dependency are treated. The patient or the family member that is asking for help, gets evaluated firstly this outpatient clinic. Following this evaluation, specific treatment plans are made for the patient and family. The polyclinic services consist of team members from psychiatry, psychology, neurology and internal diseases. In addition, the first treatment of outpatient treatment is performed by this unit after the patient has left the hospital. Besides the medical treatments, Education programs are given to students, families and physicians in order to prevent addictions. For this purpose, educational meetings are held with parents every week.

In addition, doctors, psychologists, social workers and nurses working in the alcohol and drug addiction centers in other cities in our country in order to collaborate when necessary to increase their knowledge and visibility at Addiction Center . This issue is organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, and training is organized for the personnel who want to work. These are the services carried out in addiction field and to give counseling in cooperation with Üsküdar University. The data and results obtained are published in national and international congresses and journals. Also establishes contacts with related institutions in domestic and international arena and maintain its cooperation.
