Functional MRI- fMRI- shows the functionality and neuronal activity of the brain by measuring the changes in BOLD (blood oxygenation level-dependent) MR signal. There is also MRI compatible EEG system in NPiSTANBUL Neuropsychiatry Hospital which is utilized in order to measure both the chemical and electrical activity of the brain simultaneously.
Brain mapping is a system that has been utilized at the Memory Center Neuropsychiatry Center since 1998. This system is based on transferring brain signals from analog to digital form and counting them after calibration. All the signals are divided into four main frequency groups which are analyzed for further information.
The Neuropsychiatric emergency unit is open for service 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Seclusion rooms are available for patients who exhibit excessive behavior. In our hospital's neurology unit, along with our regular neurology clinic, there are specialized clinics such as: the Dementia Clinic, the Parkinson's disease and Movement Disorders Clinic, and the Muscle and Peripheric Nerve Illnesses Clinic.

Patients who want to smoke are held under observation and are allowed to smoke only in the smoking rooms which have special ventilation systems.
