The NP Group (made up of: the Memory Center Neuropsychiatry Center, the NPISTANBUL Neuropsychiatry Hospital and the NPISTANBUL Etiler Clinic) continues to work based on the following goals: increasing the overall mental health of the public by giving priority to preventive mental health methods and allowing the public to obtain therapy for mental health problems much more easily.
The increasing traffic and population of Istanbul made it difficult for our employees and patients to reach us in the Asian side of Istanbul. Considering the suggestions made and with careful research, once a facility on the European side of Istanbul became urgent we developed the NPISTANBUL Etiler Clinic.
The Memory Center Neuropsychiatry Center located on Bagdat Street continued to provide services for adults. The Hidden Mansion located right behind it had a Child and Adolescent Unit which joined with our adult clinic in Etiler. Then, on August 10, 2009, this association led to the opening of a much bigger and better building; the NPISTANBUL Etiler Clinic located on Nispetiye Street, Etiler.
Besides the Child - Adolescent and the Adult units located at the NPISTANBUL Etiler Clinic, services are also provided for sleeping disorders, neurology and internal medicine. Not only does the Etiler Clinic provide special education and counseling services for schools but is also the first facility to start the 'Emotional Intelligence Teaching Programs' for Children and Adolescents. Other programs that are applied are: age-based aptitude tests (to understand the child's capabilities) and level of readiness tests (for preschool and kindergarten-aged children) which are all part of the 'School Maturity' program.
