Emotional tension can have a tremendous affect on an individual's life. Research has shown that stress is a factor that causes an individual to develop new illnesses or worsen one that is already present. Stress also causes a variety of things such as: alysosis (feeling of woe inside) and dysfunctioning of the immune system. Basically, stress causes an imbalance to the entire body. The individual using his/her strength, can alleviate or deal with the causes/effects of stress by utilizing relaxation techniques.
