People who suffer from this illness usually experience fear, nervousness, sweating, hand-shaking, blushing, nausea, vomiting, and other anxiety-like symptoms when they are among a group of people. Individuals with social phobia do not like making eye contact and have feelings of low self-confidence and uselessness. They live in fear of making mistakes which makes them even more afraid to go into public.
