This type of depression is also known as 'Atypic' or 'Hidden Depression'. The individual's depressive state is unnoticed by others. If individual suffers from any of the following physical symptoms: aches, asthma crises, stomach-bowel problems, heart problems, dizziness, imbalance, nausea, vomiting, numbness, fatigue, fears, obsessions, forgetfulness, cigarette-alcohol use, and/or anger, individual should visit a physician. Usually this illness is seen among children, adolescents and the elderly. Stress is especially the most important underlying factor.
