We started our work as the NP GROUP to increase the psychological
well-being of the society, to contribute to the solutions for
psychological problems, to offer inpatient and outpatient health
care services with the use of advanced scientific tools and
procedures.
Because for us, a person's health is equal to the health of all
humanity. Our first step within this framework was to open the
Turkish branch of Memory Centers of America on May 25 in 1999
on Bagdat Street with the participation of the President Süleyman
Demirel. The encouragement of our President and the support we
received from our people have quickened and eased our working.
The Memory Center, which makes use of the latest technology and
tests in the world, consists of many units like Neurology, Adult
Mental Health, Child-Adolescent Mental Health, Family Psychology,
Industrial Psychology, Speech Disorders, Headache, Addiction,
Sleeping Disorders, Obesity and Sexual Dysfunction Clinics.
Starting from the day it was founded, Memory Center, which
initiated the "Brain Check Up" and "Magnetic Stimulation Therapy"
(TMS) in Turkey, continues to give its services in an efficient way
with its expert team and new techniques in psychiatry.
Memory Center has chosen to diagnose and decide on the treatments
by assessing the brain functions in neurological and psychiatric
illnesses. The Center has taken the second step after a year.
The Center has opened the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit
on October 3, 2000 with the participation of the president of
"Memory Centers of America". The projects of our two centres
have continued without any interval from that very first day on.
The fact that we were the initiators of new medical techniques like
assessing the brain functions for diagnosis and treatment, made
us happy. We went on instilling this multi-disciplinary attitude of
combining neurology, psychiatry and psychology during the
diagnosis and treatment processes in Turkey.
In February 2003, we opened our 5 storeyed centers as the unit
of Adult Neurology and Psychiatry in Feneryolu and the mantion
behind that center was turned into the unit of Child&Adolescent
Psychiatry.
And lastly, we opened a bedded institution on March 20, 2007 with
the valuable participation of the president of the Parliament Bülent
Arınç.
