| The Psychiatric Crisis Service provides 24-hour/7-day
psychiatric emergency services including assessment,
crisis intervention and medications. The Crisis Line is available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, offering immediate psychiatric crisis intervention services. The Psychiatric Crisis Service has a Mobile Team that is able to provide on-site assessments when it is impossible for the individual to come to the Mental Health Division. The Psychiatric Crisis Service is staffed with a psychiatrist and appropriate nursing personnel at all times. The unit provides early intervention and treatment services to individuals experiencing serious psychological crisis or a psychiatric emergency. |

| A person with a mental disorder is patient, not a criminal terrorizing his environment. In a crisis situation, the transfer of a psychiatric patient to the hospital needs to be done with a specialized team and special ambulances that are designed according to the needs of psychiatric patients. In terms of universal standards, social rules and rights of the patients, a person with a mental disorder should have the opportunity to make use of an ambulance. | |
